RLT - Governance Information

At The Rowan Learning Trust, strong governance is central to our mission of delivering high-quality education across our family of schools. Our governance structure ensures clear accountability, strategic oversight, and local engagement.

The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees, who are responsible for setting the strategic direction, ensuring financial integrity, and maintaining high educational standards. Supporting them are Local Governance Committees at each school, which oversee delegated aspects of school leadership and performance. These committees are empowered through a robust Scheme of Delegation, allowing decisions to be made close to the communities we serve.

Our governance model is built on collaboration, transparency, and a shared commitment to our values. Trustees and governors are expected to challenge, support, and uphold the Trust’s ethos, ensuring every child receives the best possible education.
