Pupils at The Acorns have 3 opportunities to experience overnight residential trips during their time here. Each trip is designed to meet the needs of all pupils and we guarantee that all pupils have amazing experiences on each of our residentials

Year 2 Tattenhall (Overnight - July)

During our mini Acorns first residential trip they will have the opportunity to spend a night away from home and experience all of the amazing experience that come with an overnight visit! Our pupils will also get to experience many fun activities that they may not have done before, such as enjoying a campfire, climbing a tree and making their own lunch.

Year 4 London (2 nights)

What has qucikly become the highlight of Year 4, our 2 day trip to the capial city offers so many 'once in a lifetime' opportunities for our pupils. Whether it's taking the train to London, veiwing the city skyline from Horizon 22, experiencing a live musical or participating in a tour and workshops of Parliament, we are sure that our mini Acorns experience something that they have never done before!

Year 6 Min-Y-Don (4 nights - July)

What a way to cap off an amazing Acorns journey for our pupls! A whole week of special moments held in what has become known as a 'haven of joy', our Min-Y-Don residental trip is such a highlight for pupils and staff. Aside from the range of adverntutous activities all pupils participate in, the day to day experiences of making their own daily lunch, exploring the Min-Y-Don grounds and winding down in the common room after a long and eventful day are what makes this residnetial trip truely unforgettable!
