Meet Floss, our School Dog Mentor

Meet Floss, our School Dog Mentor. Floss plays a vital role in school: helping children feel happy and being there if ever anyone needs a companion. Floss spends her time in Mrs Bentley's room and is always happy to have visitors.

Floss has received official Dog Mentor training this year, which has helped her learn and helped us understand how to get the best out of her.

We are aware that some pupils, staff, parents and visitors are not comfortable around dogs. We are sensitive to this, and we make sure that Floss is there for those who want to spend time with her.
