A Window on the World

Lesson: Art and design

The children in Reception worked with an artist, Ticky Lowe to produce some amazing felt work. The title of the project is 'A Window on the World'.

The children learnt where the wool came from, how it had its colour changed and how it turns into felt.

The children then had to think about what they can see out of a window and create this in felt. They had to work very hard to combine the colours and to create small details.

Their artwork will be exhibited at Chester Cathedral from the 25th May to the 2nd of June if you would like to view it. We are extremely proud of their hard work and their completed work is outstanding.
